Under typical usage (1C charge/discharge at 80% DOD), our cells deliver 3,000+ cycles before capacity reaches 80% of its original rating. In terms of shelf life, the calendar life of our cells exceeds 10 years, compared to just 2-3 years for traditional lead-acid batteries.
Yes, our systems support both series and parallel configurations. You can connect up to 4 units in series to create a 48V system, or in parallel to scale overall capacity (e.g., 100Ah, 150Ah). It is critical that all interconnected batteries are of the same age, state of charge, and model. We recommend using our integrated BMS to monitor balanced cell metrics across configurations.
Our custom Battery Management Systems feature dual-processor protection circuits that actively monitor: over-voltage, under-voltage, over-current during charge/discharge, short-circuits, and cell-level temperature excursions. It also includes passive cell-balancing algorithms that run during the final charge phase to optimize overall pack capacity.
We recommend using a dedicated CC/CV (Constant Current/Constant Voltage) charge profile. The recommended charging voltage is 14.6V, with a maximum current limit of 50A (1C). Standard lithium-ion systems experience significant capacity loss in cold conditions. LIAO special low-temperature formulations allow discharge operation down to -40℃.
